Return to safe, higher intensity post-pregnancy exercise

Welcome to Perform, a collaboration between PlusOne Wellbeing and Evexia Health & Performance.

This is a physiotherapy programme designed to support you to returning to high impact and increased exercise loads after having a baby.

If you need help successfully returning to CrossFit, F45, bootcamp, running or sport we can help.

This programme involves a Perform assessment with PlusOne Wellbeing and a coaching session with Evexia Health & Performance. Both components of this programme are conducted by post-graduate qualified physiotherapists with significant experience in their respective areas.

Payments are made separately to PlusOne Wellbeing and Evexia at the time of your appointment.

Step 1: Perform assessment with PlusOne Wellbeing

  • Musculoskeletal screen

  • Pelvic floor exam

  • Functional ultrasound

  • Functional strength and loading testing

This session is individually tailored to assess your suitability to progress to high impact or heavier loads and will also aim to identify any risk factors you may have. We will provide you with a plan and will communicate our findings with Evexia prior to your coaching session.

The cost of this assessment is $165 (allow up to 60min). You will need a full bladder for the ultrasound scan.

Step 2: Coaching session with Evexia Health & Performance

  • Sport/activity specific movement screen

  • Appropriate modifications and/or progressions

  • Advice regarding training planning and exercise management

This session is individually tailored to assess your ability to perform your chosen activity or sport safely. The aim of the session is to assist you with making well informed decisions regarding your return to higher intensity training. We want you to feel confident that you can return to your chosen activity without fear of developing or aggravating any pelvic or abdominal symptoms.

The cost of this assessment is $130 (allow up to 60 min). Further coaching sessions are available if you would like to continue with a specific higher intensity rehabilitation programme and guided return to activity.
